Morgan McCulloch Consulting Director Sharon Tanner has 20 years experience in the recruitment industry working with major companies.

She started her career with Manpower where she spent seven years managing more than 150 temps for major IT companies across Reading before taking over as manager of the office division.

She then moved to Adecco where she managed the Basingstoke and then Maidenhead branches for more than three years. During that time Maidenhead was in the company’s top 20 performing branches (out of 220 branches). She was then promoted to Regional Manager responsible for 12 branches with more than 75 operational staff. She covered a geographical area spanning Slough, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, St Albans, Oxford,
Maidenhead, Aylesbury, Swindon and Cheltenham.

After seven years at Adecco, Sharon moved to Delaney Browne Appointments, a small independent company based in Reading. She spent five years there performing a range of roles from Permanent Consultant, Temp Consultant, Business Development Consultant and Manager.

” I have always loved working in this industry and have gained a wealth of experience having worked for major high street companies and independents,” said Sharon.

“This has given me a greater understanding of what clients and applicants want from recruitment suppliers, and now I’m able to deliver a tailor made service from my own company.

“I know from experience, clients do not want their time wasted with unsuitable candidates. Our unique selling point is that we ensure we understand exactly what clients want and if we don’t feel a candidate is a strong match then we won’t send them!” she added.
